I love nothing better than a book that suspends reality and makes me feel as though I am making the journey right alongside the characters. I became quite attached to several of the characters and am anxious to see where their adventure will lead them. I also enjoyed McGlothlin's characterizations. The elements are a bit of a mash-up of several religions, Greek mythology, Celtic folklore and probably some from other cultures I just don't recognize, but come together to make a very creative and believable setting.

I was absorbed into their adventure and found it hard to put down! I especially enjoyed the background story of the world McGlothin creates.
